This page contains our website's privacy policy regarding stuff like IP addresses and what stuff we gather once. As you read, if you care to, you'll see we Christians love to have fun and laugh at ourselves. You will see that as I try to put this in simple English.

Privacy Policy

Defining Terms

IP=Innings Pitched.

Oh, sorry, that's baseball.

IP=Internet Protocol It's the address that shows up when you access a site., based on who your Internet Provider is and that x computer with y operating system is now visiting here. This is different from anything which identifies the specific location, such as a GPS-type system. Web Host: That is the company that we pay to hold our website in its memory banks, as well as our URL, which stands for Uniform Resource Locator (formerly Universal)

Cookies=small pieces of data stored on a site visitor's browser, usually used to keep track of their movements and actions on a site.

GDPR=General Data Protection Regulation, a European Union regulation to protect the private data of any visitors to this site from the EU. I think we've had a few over the years, though not many, and those from the UK. I'm not sure what that means for them with Brexit.

What does Wix collect?

Note: The following is straight from Wix's Privacy Policy, section 2

2.1. Visitor and User Information

We collect two types of information regarding our Visitors and Users:

  1. Un-identified and non-identifiable information pertaining to a Visitor or un-identified User, which may be made available to us, or collected automatically via his/her use of the Services (“Non-personal Information”). Such Non-personal Information does not enable us to identify the Visitor or User from whom it was collected. The Non-personal Information collected by us mainly consists of technical and aggregated usage information, such as Visitors’ and Users’ browsing and ‘click-stream’ activity on the Services, session heatmaps and scrolls, non-identifying information regarding the Visitor’s or User’s device, operating system, internet browser, screen resolution, language and keyboard settings, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, date/time stamps, etc.

  2. Individually identifiable information, namely information that identifies an individual or may with reasonable efforts cause the identification of an individual, or may be of private or sensitive nature (“Personal Information”). The Personal Information collected by us mainly consists of contact details (e.g., e-mail address or phone number), billing details (name, physical billing address, payment method and transaction details), which are only collected from Users with Paid Services, details regarding a browsing or usage session (IP address, Geo-location and/or device unique identifier), details regarding connected third party accounts (such as the e-mail or username for a connected PayPal, Google or Facebook account), scanned identification documents provided to us (such as an ID card, driver’s license, passport or official company registration documents), correspondences (including those made through or uploaded to our Services), and any other Personal Information provided to us by Visitors and/or Users through their access to and/or use of the Services. For the avoidance of doubt, any Non-personal Information that is connected or linked to Personal Information (for example, in order to improve the Services we offer) is deemed and treated by us as Personal Information, as long as such connection or linkage exists.

We collect two types of information: Personal Information (which could be used to uniquely identify an individual) and Non-personal Information (which is non-identifying).

We collect such information regarding our users and visitors, our users’ users, job applicant and anyone else who may provide it to us.

2.2. Users of Users Information

We may also collect similar information pertaining to visitors and users of our User’s websites or services (“Users-of-Users”), solely for and on our Users’ behalf (as further described in Section ‎6 below).

2.3. Wix Jobs Applicant Information

We also collect information that is provided to us by Wix jobs candidates (“Applicants”), when they apply to any of the open positions published at, by e-mail or otherwise (as further described in Section ‎7 below).

What does collect?

First, as you can see on the Donations page, we're so old school ("How old school are you?") We're so old school, when our director uses a tablet to record receipts, he literally means a thing with paper that you write things on with a pen, not an electronic device.

We only collect what you give us. And, we will NEVER give your information to any third party.

You also... well, even being more Internet savvy I don't totally get how this works, so let me just quote from a Wix page...

"In accordance with the GDPR, site visitors have the right to access their data or "be forgotten" (to be permanently deleted from your databases)."

This means you. If you really want that information, I, your Webmaster, will try to figure out how to do that. And if you want it erased, I'll do that, too.

We have a Donations page where you can send us a check and it goes into  our General Fund unless you designate your offering toward a specific thing, like "Camp" or "Golf-a-thon" or "Missionaries."

If you send us that information, we'll send you a receipt for your tax-deductible gift, as a 501(c)3 organization. We will also put your name on a mailing list to receive our prayer letters and other mailings about activities unless you ask us not to. If you request it to be sent via e-mail we can do that, too.

However, we won't have your e-mail address unless you give it to us.

The way to give it to us is to fill out the Contact Us form. In that case, we will get that information and reply to you in a reasonable amount of time. Our director, Sal Varsalone, doesn't check his e-mail as often as your trusty Webmaster does, but that is to be expected because the Webmaster is, you know, the Webmaster, so more Internet savvy. :-)

We will keep a copy of your e-mail in our archives unless you tell us not to for a period of time, because since it will be replied to it will be part of the mail in the Sent Mail folder.

If you include your address, phone number, or other identifying material in your e-mail, just as in your snail mail, we will keep that in our contact list unless you ask us not to.

We will let you know and update this if we ever decide to accept PayPal or other Internet payment sites, but those cost money that we don't have, so you will likely know we are doing it when you see pigs flying. :-)

Seriously, we only take good, old-fashioned checks as donations, as well as any other items you may give for our flea market or otherwise. (Hey, if you want to donate something like a car for us to raffle off, or a larger van than our current minivan, be our guest! :-) You'll get a receipt just as if you gave a check for $1. Because it's about service to the Lord. One donor, for instance, donated a few hundred Indian Head pennies from his collection.)

What cookies do we use?

Again quoting from the Wix page on it, this time becasue I don't even understand half of this, but to be GDPR-complaint...

Cookies are implemented in every site built by Wix. Take a look at the table below to view which cookies Wix implements on Wix sites:

Life: Session

Purpose: Security

Names: nlbi_{ID} and XSRF-TOKEN

Wix business solutions (e.g. Wix Stores, Wix Restaurants, or Wix Bookings) and third-party apps may use cookies that aren't listed in the table above. But, we don't use any of those so don't worry.

Final note:

Our radio show page, "Quest For Truth," contains links to our shows at A few other links on various pages take visitors to the site "God's Simple Plan of Salvation," "Evangelism Explosion," and a few other sites. All of these, to the best of our knowledge, are also GDPR compliant, but please remember we are not responsible for them, we just know their Webmasters are likely much more internet-savvy that yours truly. :-)
